NT Challenge
Posted on 09/11/2012
The New Testament consists of 27 books or letters that Christians claim to be inspired by God, word for word. You say you believe it. Or maybe you're thinking about believing it. But have you ever read it? The whole thing? Starting September 9, People's Church is going to read and study the New Testament one book at a time, and it's going to take us till May 2013 to finish. By reading less than 15 minutes a day (or listening on CD) and attending on Sundays, you're going to
• gain an overview of the New Testament,
• learn about all the New Testament books and their writers,
• discover more about who Jesus really is,
• see why the Bible is amazingly relevant to your life, and
• grow in the process.
If you'd like to take the New Testament Challenge, take the following steps:
1. Commit to reading the New Testament (this amounts to about a chapter per day);
2. Download and print our churchwide reading schedule (please note the "rules" and additional info);
3. Write "challenge" on side 2 of your Sunday morning "connection card" -- and "1st time" if this is the first time you've ever read the entire New Testament; and
3. Attend People's Church on Sundays during the series (9.16.12 thru 5.26.13).
You can do it! And don't forget to visit our calendar to follow what we're covering each Sunday.

Welcome
People's Church is a new church that began in December 2006 in Westchester County, New York. Our focus isn't starchy religion or rituals, but a real relationship with God.
If you're full of faith or full of questions, whether you consider yourself a spiritual person or not, we'd love for you to join us for one of our musical Sunday services in Elmsford.
This site was created to give you an overview of our ministry -- what we're all about, where we're located, and what to expect on a Sunday. So explore and enjoy! And we won't bore you on Sunday, we promise.
