The Jungle
At People's Church we believe in giving our best to our littlest. Jesus absolutely loved children, and we do too.
Our new kids program is designed for children ages birth thru 12, and it's called "The Jungle." The program takes place during the main service, and is divided into three age groups:
• Baby Cubs: ages birth thru 2
• Noah's Park: ages 3 thru 6
• Big Adventure: ages 7 thru 12
When you arrive, a Jungle worker will be there to check in your baby or child, and enter your family name into our system. Your child and you will be given a uniquely matched tag, which you will present when you return after the service to pick up your child. The check-in person will also take your cell number and ask you to keep your phone on vibrate, so you can be paged in case you're needed.
(If you don't want to miss any of the service, check in your kids between 9:45 and 9:50am. And if you're checking in a child for the first time, feel free to print out and neatly complete the children's check-in form ahead of time.)
Time in the Jungle is divided into three segments:
• PlayTime
Games open at 9:45am, and include an arcade-sized dual basketball toss, foosball table, Lego table, bean-bag toss game, and games and toys for babies and toddlers, too.
• WorshipTime
Singing, praising, and praying together.
• ClassTime
Learning about God and life.
We also believe that it's a sin for kids to think church is boring. The Jungle is staffed by a team of dedicated People's Church ladies who are all about creating an environment for your kids that is FUN, SAFE, and SPIRITUAL. Most of our Jungle staff are First-Aid and CPR certified, and the entire team has been background-screened.
The Jungle has been prepared and staffed with both parents and kids in mind.
Welcome
People's Church is a new church that began in December 2006 in Westchester County, New York. Our focus isn't starchy religion or rituals, but a real relationship with God.
If you're full of faith or full of questions, whether you consider yourself a spiritual person or not, we'd love for you to join us for one of our musical Sunday services in Elmsford.
This site was created to give you an overview of our ministry -- what we're all about, where we're located, and what to expect on a Sunday. So explore and enjoy! And we won't bore you on Sunday, we promise.
