What do you offer for my kids?

Can I bring my baby?
Yes! We have a safe space in our kids ministry just for little ones ages birth through 2. It's equipped with cribs, a changing table, toys, and a 42" Vizio screen with kids' videos just for them! Click here to read more about "The Jungle," our new program for kids ages birth through 11.

How old is People's Church?
Our church was launched in December of 2006. For five years we gathered on Sundays in Tarrytown. As of March 18, 2012, you can find us at the LaQuinta ball room in Elmsford on Sundays.

Is People's Church affiliated with any denomination?
People's Church is associated with many churches across the country, but we are an independant, nondenominational Christian church that isn't formally affiliated with or governed by any denomination.

How long has People's Church been in Elmsford?
For five years we met on Sundays in Tarrytown. As of Sunday, March 18, we've been meeting at the LaQuinta ball room in Elmsford.

How long are your Sunday services?
Around 90 minutes, 10-11:30am.

Our mission statement is: "to inspire and instruct ordinary people to become extraordinary followers of Jesus Christ."

What should I wear?
Some people dress up and others dress down. The important thing is that you’re here! Feel free to dress comfortably. Shirts are required; shoes aren’t.
Membership

How can I become a member?
If you feel that God may be leading you to join our church, the first step is to attend "Start 101: Discovering Church Membership," which is offered on at least two Sundays per year. Start 101 normally takes place on a Sunday at 3:30pm. In this class, we explore what the Bible has to say about belonging to a church, and we present the simple requirements for membership. Stay tuned for the next Start 101.

What's the music like?
Our Sunday music is a blend of old and new songs, traditional and contemporary.
Offering

Do I have to give in the offering?
Our ministry is supported financially by our church membership. If you're a guest, our Sunday program is our gift to you, so please feel no obligation to give in the offering.
Services

Do you have services on any other day but Sunday?
We don't hold public services on other days of the week at this time. However, if you’re interested in learning the Bible more deeply, take advantage of our home-based Bible studies which are offered throughout the year.
